Our Converter Plug for the Tiger 5500 or 8500 ½ Respirator Filter mask converts these masks from inhalation filtration only to 2 way inhalation/exhalation P100 filtration providing maximum protection for the respirator mask wearer and all people they come in contact with.

Simply remove the exhaust valve and insert the exhaust valve plug and remove the inhalation filter one way flapper valves.

The Tiger aviation helmet voice amplifier has been enhanced to function with aviation high impedance amplified electret microphones and unamplified electret microphones. Other commonly available voice amplifiers will not function with aviation microphones.

The Tiger Plug In Aviation Helmet/Headset Voice Amplifier is configured for any aviation high impedance amplified electret microphone to greatly amplify and broadcast the helmet/headset wearers speech. The helmet respirator mask microphone is plugged directly into the mic input 1 of the voice amplifier via a supplied 3’ cable. The amplifier includes a volume control to set the loudness of the speaker. The supplied lightweight headset and portable radios and other devices requiring an unamplified electret microphone may also be plugged into the mic 2 input of the voice amplifier.
