Tiger Aviation Helmet Fan Powered Cooling System

The Tiger Aviation Helmet Fan Powered Cooling System provides continuous air delivery into the aviation helmet via (2) quiet high performance centrifugal 50mm fans. Air-Conditioned cockpit air is transferred inside the helmet to provide immediate relief from high temperature, humidity and heat buildup inside the helmet. If the cockpit air is not air-conditioned, the non-conditioned air delivery inside the helmet provides evaporative cooling also resulting in rapid reduction of sweating and quick relief. The amount of air is adjusted via a small helmet Velcro mounted on/off speed control box. A high capacity 5000 Mah rechargeable battery is included and provides many hours of continuous trouble-free comfort. Although an unlikely occurrence, the battery is simple to replace during mission operations. The fans are easy to unplug and remove during cooler operating conditions as in the winter months. Here’s a little testimony about my new helmet…… I had been flying with an agency, with another brand of helmet, and it was causing me problems….. restricted view due to helmet size, marginal noise cancellation system, and the weight was giving me neck pain. I decided to buy my own. After talking with Sonny and the folks at Tiger Performance, I decided it was time to try an MSA Gallet helmet. I bought the MSA LH250, with amber/dark visors, A20 system, Bluetooth, noise cancellation, and NVG visor mount, and wire mic boom. I also got the 2 small cooling fans with rechargeable Li ion battery pack to help cool down the back of my head during hot weather flying. The Initial helmet fit was good, only had to move a pad or 2 and had no hot spots after first adjustment. I love the helmet, its lighter, I can see better, and no more headache issues. The cooling fans help a lot. It feels very cool the first few minutes, then it still cools you even after your head feels mostly dry. The battery pack is amazing, I’ve had it on for over 3hrs on medium setting and it was still at 80%. The ability to take/make phone calls while enroute with the Bluetooth is pretty cool…… great sound quality in the helmet. Overall, I’m so glad I bought this helmet system…….
